.plan file

On systems running finger services, each user may create their own .plan file within their home directory that is displayed when someone else queries them with a finger client.

These were traditionally used to keep information such as schedule and vacation status, office hours, etc.

If a user does not have a .plan file, the finger service will display “No Plan”
